Creative writing workshops encouraging discussion around climate adaptation  and climate change in Inverclyde.

 

Curation and design of a zine documenting the process and outcomes.

Lead by RIG Arts, commissioned by the Clyde Rebuilt project run in partnership by Sniffer, Creative Carbon Scotland and Paul Watkiss Associates with funding from EIT Climate KIC and Climate Ready Clyde.

As Creative Lead I was responsible for:​

  • devising accessible creative writing techniques for participants who may infrequently engage with the arts

  • ensuring the techniques made a complex topic relatable

  • creating opportunity for deeper dialogue

  • collating, editing and curating written and visual responses

  • designing and producing the final outcome, the e-zine

Rhia Laing led on the visual workshops and Brian Rankin provided illustrations.
